  Welcome

Donna has been painting since she was five years old. After graduating from James Madison University with a degree in art education, she taught in the public school system on and off for over 25 years, all that time continuing with her personal art work in a variety of media, including printmaking, acrylics, watercolors and oils.

She has taken a variety of workshops with such internationally known artists as Maggie Siner and Dodie Petro, with Mark Menzer at the Carnegie Melon Touchstone Center for the Arts, and at the Figure and Portrait Painting Educator’s Forum at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

She has created and catalogued over 500 works of art, dozens of exhibitions and awards and has sold over 175 works of art to individual buyers, collectors and commercial organizations.

Donna has been working in oils for the past ten years and her work may currently be seen in galleries around the northeast North Carolina area, including on the Outer Banks (see her Gallery Representation Page).
